Information Market Transportation Security 2006 in Seeon

Especially for transport of dangerous goods  more and more shippers want, also for safety reasons, the displacement of the transport from road to rail. Karl Fischer, General manager of the LKZ Prien GmbH, got the chance to exchange ideas with dangerous goods experts in the course of the information event “information market transportation security 2006 in Seeon.

Alpine Freight Railway
AlpFRail - Displacement of goods from road to rail within the alpine space
AlpFrail means "Alpine Freight Railway". Target of the project is a consequent displacement of goods from road to rail in the whole alpine space by innovative concepts. A rail network, which enables a connection in all directions, should be developed. AlpFrail is planned for four years with a budget of four million Euro. The Logistik Kompetenz Zentrum Prien is the Lead partner of the project and 16 partners from the alpine countries co-operate.

During a jouney of entrepreneurs organized by the chamber of industry and commerce Oberfranken and the Italian chamber of commerce in Munich, Karl Fischer the general manager of the LKZ Prien GmbH could welcome 25 participants of the delegation in the LKZ Prien.

Chamber of commerce of Munich and Upper Bavaria and Italian chamber of commerce organized excursion to Genova harbour
During a excursion to the harbour of Genova organized by the chambers of commerce of Munich and Upper Bavaria and of Italy, Karl Fischer, general manager of the Logistik-Kompetenz-Zentrum and project manager of the European project AlpFrail could intensify together with Julian Osswald, work package manager for pilot trains, the activities in the western net.
